Our personality and social development are very much influenced by the way we think about others. When we judge others it actually shows what we are thinking. In the process of forming impression of others we tend to used five sources of information. We look at then appearance and we judge after comparison to our own selves. We interact with the person and try to understand their verbal behaviour. We use this as yardstick to judge whether the person is smarter than us or not. We see their actions and that is a quite definitive view of understanding what that person is like.
